This guy is restoring the knights’ fortress of Chambrey at the island of Gozo, Malta, creating a fantastic resort of holiday homes and a 6 star hotel. The knights’ barrachs in the background will be turned into an exclusive shopping mall, complete with restaurants and bars - but with all it’s original features and materials intact. Now, in my opinion, THIS is the way to preserve historic buildings: Give them a new life, let them take part in our daily lives! Guy should be knighted, if you ask me!
